Iranian Embassy in Syria Denies Theft Allegations
WANA (Dec 11) – The Islamic Republic of Iran’s Embassy in Syria has strongly denied allegations of theft following reports of a break-in at the embassy.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the embassy responded to claims that items had been stolen from the premises, clarifying that no equipment or valuables were present during the alleged attack.
The statement emphasized that all matters were carefully predicted prior to the evacuation, and the reported theft of $42 million was described as a baseless rumor spread by dissidents with the aim of influencing public opinion within Iran.
